HORTENSIAS is an interactive story about life and loss.

It’s a slice-of-life, autobiographical game that centers on real conversations among a grandmother, a mother, and the developer (the daughter) as they reflect on their memories of her late great-grandmother. 

It’s a nonlinear story woven together through a series of upbeat and melancholic mini-games and comic strips that let you play through our memories. 

Sew, bake, and stuff a turkey in a drying machine, and interact with dozens of hand-drawn objects while listening to heartfelt, funny conversations set in the town of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
